"OVER THE BRIDGE"
1st Annual 10K Run and 5K Run/WalkSaturday, September 17th, 2011 at 9:00 A.M. Start.
Registration starts at 7:00 a.m at the Hampton Bays Middle School and participants will
be bused to start at Warner's Park across the Ponquogue Bridge. Last bus to leave at
8:30 a.m. so please register early or online at www.islanrunning.net
Runners who pre-register, $20.00 (postmarked by 9/10/2011)
The first 200 entrants are guaranteed a T-shirt.
Runners who register on race day, $25.00.
Children 14 and under are welcome to register, $10.00.
Sorry, no chips given for age 10 and under.
Awards to top male and female runners and top 3 in each category male and female:
11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Race includes T-shirt, (while supplies last) post race food, refreshments and water stop.
The 10K Run has beautiful vistas along the Atlantic Ocean, Shinnecock Inlet,
Shinnecock Bay and breathtaking views over the Ponquogue Bridge. The race
starts at Warner's Park goes east along Dune Road loop around at Shinnecock Inlet, west along Dune Road, north over Ponquogue Bridge, north on Light House Road, north on Foster Avenue, west on Shinnecock Road, north on Ponquogue Avenue and ends at ball field behind Hampton Bays Middle School.

Directions to Hampton Bays Middle School: Take Montauk Hwy., Hampton Bays, go
south on Ponquogue Avenue. You will see Hampton Bays Middle School on west side of Ponquogue Avenue about 1/2 mile south of Montauk Hwy. Plenty of parking at the
Hampton Bays Middle School.
